Where can I park?

Well, we’d prefer you leave your car at home — we will even have a FREE (and secure) bicycle valet service! We’re green like that. However, if you do choose/need to drive, there is limited parking in the lot near Wagner Park and Hawkeye Park, and close side-street parking.

Can I bring the kids?

Of course! Kids are welcome to accompany their parents, although if you are underage, you need to be there with an adult. Everyone is welcome, this is a family-friendly environment! However, please be responsible for your own children and respectful of others.

Can I bring balls and games?

Sure! However, as a courtesy to others, please use the extra room in the back of the park for throwing balls and other games that take up a lot of room to stay out of the way of the hardcore music fans!

Can I bring my own chair?

Yes! Lawn chairs are encouraged to maximize your enjoyment, but please be courteous to your fellow fans. No chair tossing competitions, no chair fights, and keep the chairs back a bit from the stage so dancers aren’t hindered from booty shaking.

Will there be food available?

Heck yeah, and we encourage you to make a meal out of it!

Can I bring my own food?

Please no outside food. If you have special dietary needs, just talk with the gate personnel and things will work out just fine!

What about beverages? Will you have those for sale?

Yes! Bring your ID, the Ankeny Jaycees will be selling adult beverages (malt liquor: beer). The profits from these beer sales and all event proceeds go right back to the community. If you bring your own mug, you can even get a local craft beer (different each week) for the same price as pre-packaged beer! We will also have bottled water and soda available for purchase.

Can I bring my own beer?

No, sorry. Without beverage sales, this event wouldn’t be possible, and we wouldn’t make any cash to give right back to the community.

How about nonalcoholic beverages, can I bring those?

Sorry! No outside food or drink, please.

Can I bring a cooler?

No coolers, please.

Can I hang out with the bands on stage?

Unless the artists specifically invite you onto the stage, please refrain from joining them there. While children are welcomed to dance and party down in front of the stage, please help us keep them off the stage and stage steps. We really appreciate this!

Can I take photos or video?

Photos, sure! Video/audio, maybe. We’ll have to ask the bands. If you are a professional wanting to help us out, contact us!

Who runs this show, anyway?

The Ankeny chapter of the Junior Chamber (Ankeny Jaycees), a nonprofit volunteer community organization. Learn more about us on our website.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets, sorry. Service animals are allowed, of course.

Can I be a vendor and sell my stuff there, or be a sponsor?

Perhaps you can! Contact us for more information.
